Just by blogging about this incident gives me goosebumps.
Last Tues, there was thermal fogging at my block. When I was about to leave house, I wanted to get some toiletries from the kitchen toilet.
To my horror, there were baby cockroaches crawling into the toilet and there was a big one inside.
I freaked out and didn't bother taking the toiletries anymore. Can imagine if I open the rubbish chute the whole colony (?) of cockroaches will rush out. I almost died and quickly rushed out of the house but got scolded by mum for not locking the door properly =.=
I've been reading a book called The Saint, The Surfer, The CEO recommended by my bro and it's really quite interesting. Many things to ponder about while reading it and many inspiring stories (:
A few famous ones would be the story that says life is like a game of juggling, where there are many different balls to juggle. Career is like a rubber ball. Once you drop it, it bounces back. Things like family, friends, health are like glass balls. Once dropped, it'll be gone. There's also a quote that I really like, which talks about turning hindsight into foresight that reveals insight.
Slightly feeling more stressful these days probably cos of the work load that's piling up.
Sometimes, I really hate inconsistency. On Monday, doing a certain thing is correct. On Tuesday, doing the same thing is wrong. That's really inconsistent..and it makes people fed up.
I hate unreasonability (if there's such a word). Pinpointing at someone without getting the facts right. *recall one story in the book that I've read "Remember that every time you point a finger at someone, you have 3 fingers pointing back at you"* - okay, that's more about putting the blame and not pinpointing.. but still~
Anyway, just hope people will be responsible in their actions because I'm the one bearing consequences and not the culprit(or without even knowing the culprit) and that feeling is really horrible.
Watched Monsters vs Aliens today and that professor cockroach really made me feel disgusted. URGHHH~ but it's quite a cute show (:
You are my star in the sky,
You are the reason I'm alive.
